I am a locally trained sculptor, working in traditional techniques with a classical approach. I apprenticed for three years with a formally trained sculptor, (known for his commission work), who was a pupil of Sydney Harpley RA and Kenneth Ford. I work from my sculpture studio in Norwich, specialising in creating bronze and Cold Cast Bronze portraiture, figurative and animalia sculpture.

I specialise in sculpting in clay, mould making and casting in cold cast bronze, with some work being produced in UK foundries, (lost wax technique), in bronze.

In an increasingly visual world, do we really see very much at all? Could you describe the intricacies of your partners face; how the shape of their teeth makes their lips fall, or which eyebrow falls first when they are sad?

I aim for my sculpture to demand the world stops, (if just for you), just for a moment. To really immerse yourself in a beautiful detail of our world captured for eternity. Loose yourself in the detail of a curl of hair or fluff of fur.

The inspiration for my sculptures comes from wishing to capture the essence of what makes you, you, whoever, or whatever you are using congruence, empathy, and unconditional positive regard.
